                                                                                   "On Saturday 21 May 2005 I think the whole Phoenix Group had a really great evening - I didn't hear a single complaint - quite the opposite, people were just full of praise.  The two very pleasant, helpful and attractive girls worked their socks off to make us all happy, and, behind the scenes, so must your chefs and other backroom boys and girls.

"The food was brilliant, cooked to perfection, served hot, on warm plates, lashings of it, and we all felt it was just excellent value for money.

"Personally, I hope that we can arrange another similar meal at The Fox Inn, Steventon soon.  No doubt most of those who attended will be telling the other members who did not attend what a great time we had so as to increase numbers for next time.
