Our current guest ale
is Everards Original (5.2% ABV), which won the gold medal in the Draught
Cask Conditioned Ale category at the Brewing Industry International
Awards 2004.
One of Britain’s elite premium cask ales, Original is smooth,
full-bodied and fruity with a delightful delicate hoppiness. Although
the flavours are complex, no single flavour predominates to upset the
ale’s exceptional balance.
The finish is malty and
sweetish – the colour, a copper brown. An unusually drinkable ale for
one of
premium strength.

course and a dessert and save up to 50% on normal pricing. The offer
excludes steaks, but the remainder of our vast
bar menu is included in this offer.

In
addition to our regular brands,
we also offer Greene King's seasonal ales, as well as guest ales from
other brewers.
Our new guest ale
is Ridley's Rumpus. Roasted crystal malt creates this rich ruby
coloured ale, brewed to 4.5% ABV. It has a sweet nutty flavour
perfectly complemented by a light bitter aftertaste.

sooner is Christmas over than we begin thinking about the next
special occasion. If Christmas is for families, then St.
Valentine's Day is for lovers, and to mark the occasion each year,
we create a special menu with romance in mind.
We have a limited
number of tables available on Valentine's night, and last year
places filled up very quickly, so we have made our
Valentine's
Dinner Menu available for you to download now so you can
reserve your table early and avoid disappointing the one you love.
