Throughout this winter we are making a special offer to steak lovers.
We are offering you a 6oz sirloin steak grilled to your liking and
served with all the trimmings - that's chips and peas, onion rings,
mushrooms, grilled tomato and salad garnish - for just £6.75.
That's right, just £6.75.
There aren't any
catches. You don't need to carry a
loyalty card. You don't
need to order more than one meal. You don't need to order a
dessert. You don't even need to order a bottle of wine. All
you need to order is a Winter Warmer and you'll get a 6oz sirloin steak
grilled to your liking and served with all the trimmings.
The Winter Warmer will
be available every evening throughout this winter.

Here
at The Fox, in return for your support we run a
Loyalty Card Scheme.
Each month we make a money-saving offer that is only available to
loyalty card holders.
Throughout October, we
are offering something for the onset of winter. Order a bowl of soup
and a sandwich this month and pay just £5.00, that's a saving of up to
£2.20 on the individual prices. Unfortunately we cannot extend this
offer to include the
Janet Special, which as many of you
know is a meal in itself.
Joining the scheme is simple: complete the very short application form
available from the bar, hand it to the bar staff, and you can begin
using your card immediately. It's that easy.
Pick up your card and begin saving
money at The Fox today.
Whether you like them
hot, medium or mild, you'll find something to enjoy at The Fox's curry
nights this winter.
All our curries are
homemade from raw ingredients and spices, and offer something for
everyone:
- A mild curry in a
creamy sauce from the traditional Korma recipe, flavoured with
tumeric, coriander and ginger
- Our medium curry
is based on the Dhansak recipe, and is made with mixed vegetubles
and pineapple and flavoured with cumin, tumeric and paprika
- Finally, there is
our hot curry, spiced with chillies, paprika and ginger, and
flavoured with cinnamon, garlic and coriander. It's based on
the traditional recipe for Vindaloo, and is hot enough to hurt the
unwary but not so hot that it will cause permanent damage!
Each curry can be made
with your choice of beef, chicken, prawns or vegetables, and is served
with rice, mango chutney, sultanas, minted yoghurt, and a basket of
pappadoms. They are all priced at just £6.50.
Curry nights begin on
October 4, and run every Tuesday night throughout the winter.
Naturally, the bar will be serving cold drinks to anyone who's bitten
off more than they can chew!
We look forward to
seeing you.

In
addition to our regular brands,
we also offer Greene King's seasonal ales, as well as guest ales from
other brewers.
Our new guest ale is Ridley's Old Bob. Brewed to 5.1% by volume,
Old Bob uses a superior blend of malt and hops that characterises this
full-bodied, smooth and warming premium ale.
