 As usual at this time
of year, we are updating our restaurant menu to offer you new and
interesting dishes.
Each year we review the
menu and add new choices to to give you more variety and alternatives to whet
your appetite.
Our new restaurant menu
will be available from 1 August, and on it you can expect to see Roasted
Fillet of Salmon with a Herb Crust, BBQ Pork Steak with our famous
Homemade Coleslaw, and Pan-fried Liver and Bacon with Onion Gravy to
name but three of the new dishes.
These are just some of
the changes we'll be making. To see the full menu, call in in
August and see what we have to offer.

at The Fox, in return for your support we run a
Loyalty Card Scheme.
Each month we make a money-saving offer that is only available to
loyalty card holders.
Throughout July, you
and your friends can enjoy a three-pint jug of
Pimm's for the incredibly low price of
just £9.00 - that's nearly 25% off the cost of the same drinks bought
individually. Alternatively, buy four two-course Sunday lunches
and we will offer you a bottle of our house wine with our compliments.

In
addition to our regular brands, we also offer Greene King's seasonal
ales, as well as guest ales from other brewers. Our current guest
ale is Tribute from the
St. Austell Brewery in Cornwall. Brewed at
4.2% abv, it is a premium
hand-crafted ale deserving to be savoured, and has become a popular
favourite with drinkers both in Cornwall and farther up country.
Its moreish hoppy flavour with a fresh citrus nose compliments a fine
chicken, gammon or fish dish.

are entered in the Oxford Mail Pub 2005 Competition, and we need your

Wimbledon
has started, dear old Tim Henman crashed out in
the first week, and Glastonbury revellers ended up mud-wrestling. It must be
summer!
At The Fox, we have
introduced Pimm's No. 1 Cup behind the bar. Served with lemonade

Just one week after our
Bank Holiday Giveaway,
last night another team walked away over £300 richer after winning our
Monday night quiz.
'Bus Fare Home', one of
our most regular entrants, won a total of £304 in a thrilling play-off
that saw their pontoon hand of an ace and a king beat the landlord's
pontoon of just an ace and a jack.
That's over £750 won in
the past eight days. Next week, it could be you, but only if you
enter The
BIG
Quiz on Monday
night. The fun begins at 8.30pm as usual.
