course and a dessert and save up to 50% on normal pricing. The offer

On 1
February
2005 we launch our revised and improved bar menu. Like all our
menus, we review the bar menu every year, retaining all the most popular
sandwiches and meals and replacing the less popular with new dishes.
This year
we are introducing thirteen new dishes - a new combo platter appetiser
suitable for one large appetite or two smaller ones, four new sandwich
fillings, and eight new main meals, three of them new vegetarian dishes.
A new
feature is our 'Sandwich of the Week' - 52 different fillings we have
devised to keep your taste buds tingling:
Brie,
Bacon and Cranberry Sauce
Chicken with Coriander and Lemon Mayonnaise
Stilton and Mango Chutney Melt
Cheddar and Marmite ...
... and many, many more
Forty-eight more to be precise, one for each week of the year.
We like
your feedback on everything we do at The Fox, so if you have any
comments please let us know - particularly any of the sandwiches of the
week that you'd like to see as regular features on the menu.

Everyone
at The Fox Inn would like to wish all our customers a happy and
prosperous 2005, and thank them for their contributions to the pub’s
fundraising efforts last year.
During
2004, the pub raised over £670 for Support for the Sick Newborn and
their Parents (SSNAP).
Your money
has gone to a local charity which supports the Special Care
Nursery at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
Many
thanks to everyone who contributed to this and other fundraising
activities we organised last year. You helped us raise
£236
for the MacMillan Cancer
Trust, and over £500 for
Children in Need.
In total we raised over £1,500 for
these and other charities.
Your generosity is very much
appreciated by those benefiting from your donations.

I
trust you all had a good Christmas and that the post-New Year hangover
was worth it. I'd
like to thank everyone for their kind comments and compliments on the
standard of our celebrations last year. It was my first Christmas
at The Fox, and I was pleased that everyone felt we had exceeded their
expectations. We plan to do even better next Christmas.
We like to stay ahead of
the field here at The Fox, and can already offer you our menu for
Christmas 2005. By placing a confirmed booking before the end of
June, we will give you a 10% discount off the cost of your meal.
If it appeals, give us a call
on 01235 821228 to check availability, and if you place your booking
before the end of June you can knock 10% off the price.
Get Christmas 2005 wrapped up
and save money on your Christmas spending. We look forward
to hearing from you. |
