Many
thanks to everyone who took part in our Children in Need
BIG
Charity Quiz and Raffle last Friday.
Your
contributions raised over £500 for the
BBC's Children in Need appeal, which
has been banked at NatWest in Abingdon. Particular thanks go to
all our suppliers who provided some of the more sought-after prizes, and
to "Big" Dave Mather, our
quizmaster, for hosting the raffle.
Next
year's appeal falls on Friday 18 November 2005, and we shall again be
holding our BIG Charity Quiz, this time backed with a 'slave auction'.
You will be able to bid for spectacular prizes and the services of many
of our customers, suppliers and staff. We hope you join us and bid for
a free wedding/party disco to the value of £200, a free massage, free
manicure, free celebratory dinner, and the many other prizes we shall be
gathering together over the next twelve months.
Once
again, our thanks to everyone who took part in the events last Friday.
See you next November for something even bigger and better!
